-- Added a few more hidden features to the game. The ability to pick up
money, and drop money in ceartain locations (Combat area) for players
to transfer money. Also, if you get killed in Combat Area, then all your
money on hand (that was normally lost) is put into the "FIND" kitty.
-- The Chat module was erasing the input the user entered. Fixed. Now you
get a clean slate, when you come into it!
-- Added a notification to all users, when another user leaves.
-- Added Registration information to this one.
-- Updated the Bribe.dat file.
-- Updated the Editor.wcx file.
-- A few extra goodies for you to find!

-- A Few Minor Problems encountered with Wildcat Single Line Systems
1. My online data files where grabbed from an enviroment string set by
the SysOp and usually encountered ONLY in the Multiline Systems.
I took for granted everybody set the the WCNodeID string in their
batch files. Sorry I forgot about the Single line operators!
FIXED!
2. During my node count I wasn't taking into consideration the Node 0 set
up by some Sysop's as thier SysOp node, and of Course Single line
users, this is your only option for SysOp Node!
FIXED!
-- Bug FIXED!
1. If a User was deleted either by Maintenance, SysOp Deleting them or
by them commiting suicide, and a new user came in, it overwrites that
record. Fine and dandy you say, "It cuts down on the user record size"
Right you are, and that was the intention. BUT.... It was also giving
them whatever banked money that user had before being deleted.
FIXED!
2. Problem fixed where if you said no to "Paying for the River", it would
still say you don't have that much money! It wouldn't take anything
from you, but it was looped that route anyway.
3. A player who was killed in special area 4, would be flagged as still
being online.
FIXED!
4. Some of the kiddie level's were TONED down. Took out some of the "Crush"
your head, and some other little ditties. Also added an alternative
DEATH screen to the kiddie level.
5. All inputmasked questions now show the brackets as the same color.
FIXED!

-- Screen Fixes:
Armour Buying: Was taking you back to the Misc Menu
Weapon Buying: Was taking you back to the Misc Menu
All 1 character inputs are now alike. <RETURN> enters the Capitalized
Letter.
All Y/N prompts have been colorized.
Added "NODE: " to the beggining log on "who's online now"
Added the amount of Worms you have left to the fishing screen.
Reworded the Map Area 19 selection "take the ferry" result.
Some general "PRETTY'n" up on some of the screens.
-- Updated the Chat module, so as not to flash at you when it refreshes.
-- Added finding of Scrolls (maps) to the Random "Rusty Chest" finds. These
give the user a map (for about 1 minute) of where special areas are at.
-- The mail wasn't getting deleted if a user became inactive, deleted, or
commited suicide. FIXED!
-- If there is nobody online, then the "You have been announced" lines do
not show up!
-- BUG!!! BUG!!!! If the user commited suicide the program was trying to
update the lachrymator user records, with a blank name and alias.
Causing the DataBase to get corrupted. FIXED! (Thank god we found this
one!) :)
-- Updated Editor to delete the users mail if you delete him from the
Editor. ("-" from the player editor screen)
-- I increased the random payoffs to $15,000 and $10,000 to give the user
a little extra spending cash!
-- if the user has read the public mail, it will not prompt him again unless
the message is new!
-- I limited the user fights. If you are 4 levels higher than the person
you are trying to kill, it will tell you "he is no match for you"
Thats all she wrote, and unless anybody finds any bugs, this will be the
last MAJOR UPDATE you will see during this test. The rest will be just
display problems, or problem fixes. This is pretty much what I wanted to
distribute. But if you have anymore GOOD idears. Lemme know, will gladly
put them in here!

-- Added the Helper.Wcx Program. This can either be a standalone program
or used internally by Lachrymator from the SysOp Screen. This will
automatically Install you Extra Places for you. Just enter in the
information it asks for, and your done!
-- Added Option to view Lach.Err File (error log) internally from the SysOp
Screen. You can also kill this file from there!
-- Added the option to view UsersD.Rop File (Dropped Carrier Log) internally
from the SysOp Screen. You can also kill this file from there!
-- Added the ability for the game to send out a global page to everybody that
is online, when a user enters the game.
-- Fixed Mis-Spellings in the Supply Tent Menu
-- Added Color Codes to the users hitpoints during battle. If he goes below
80% he turns blue, below 50% and he turns yellow, below 20% he turns Red
and white.
-- Changed the Supply Tent area's. If you chose "M" for miscellanious items
you only had the ability to buy one item at a time. Now you can stay there
until you enter a "Q" to quit.
-- Changed some aesthetics to the New User Login. It now clears the screen
before it asks you if you want instructions.
-- Changed the Normal logon of all users, to advise them to wait a minute
while the program announces them to other users.
-- Added the Twit.Lst. This ASCII (Editable) file, when edited by the SysOp
(Either a User(s) Real Full Name, or Security Levels) will not allow that
person(s) or Security Level into the game. I put this option in so that
if you didn't want to run 2 games, and wanted to run the Adult version for
everybody, you could exclude all security levels that don't have access.
OR! If you have a user that is abusing his time on YOUR system you can
lock him out of the game. To change this file, use any DOS Editor, and add
the name OR security level (one each line). Or you can mix and match them.
Put a ceartain security level on one line, and a user in another line. It
will check both items. BUT REMEMBER! ONLY ONE PER LINE!
-- Created a Twit.BBS (In WcDraw) for the message it delivers to your users
that are on the Twit.Lst file. This is fully customizable, and you can
edit it anyway you like!
-- Added a number Guess to all special areas. Some users might think its a
tad bit hard searching and waiting for the passwords to the Special areas.
so if they do find them, and get the password wrong, they will be given
a second chance. They will be given three tries to guess a number between
1 and 100. If they get it, they get access to the area, and the password.
If they don't, they lose all but 1 hitpoint (this is warned before entering)
(THIS OPTION IS ONLY ALLOWED ONCE PER DAY)
-- Added the Node Number to the Who's online (when you first login)
-- Added a Wildcat Color Help File to the help option in the game. The
aesthetics of this have also changed.
-- I messed up and turned Chat off in v.97b, but it has been turned back on!

-- There was a problem with Maintenace not deleteing inactive players if it
was a New Year. This has been fixed.

-- Full Carrier Checking
This was always there. But the benefit of this Release is that you are
notified in a Usersd.rop file what users have dropped carriers, and when.
This is also helpful, due to the clean up of the Game when a user drops
carrier. Fixed the problem with people being stuck online.
-- Complete Error Logging
You can view the file Lach.err for any errors that may come up. This is
also helpful for me, when you report any bugs in the program.
-- Complete Error Checking
All (Every ERROR!) is now being trapped. It still logs out the user from
the game, cleans up the Stuck onliners, and saves all relevant information
-- On the prompt "Stroke a Key Warrior" if they do not hit something within
45 seconds, the game will log them out. This is also a added benefit to
the cleaning process.
-- Fixed some spelling problems on the Lfight1.BBS, and the LachHelp.bbs files
I'm sure there are others, but we will get them as they come along.
-- Bug fixed on the "Partial Healings". If you selected the option from the
healing menu, no matter how much you wanted healed you would be told the
amount you needed for max hitpoints. It wouldn't give it to you, but the
display told you that.
-- If a users dies sometime during the day. Wether its by him losing a battle
or someone killing them, the program would not let them enter and see the
bulletins, and check their mail. It just logged them out. Now it goes
through the complete login process, but when they hit the actual game it
boots them out.
-- Changed and organized some hard coded menus so they were a little more
attractive. Mostly the menu headers that had a "-=-=-=-=-=-=-" in them.
